Main uses:
• Specialized for thinning oil paint and cleaning oil paint brushes
Characteristic:
- Traditional solvent, strongest detergent, dissolves evenly and is stronger than White Spirit.
- Like turpentine but less odorous and less toxic.
- Suitable for use with oil- and alkyd-based paints.
- Used to thin paint well, clean brushes and mix with other solvents.
- Slow evaporation and increase mixing time.
- Very suitable to replace turpentine oil and safer to use.
- Can be used as a cleaning agent for dried varnish (protective coating) on the surface of oil paintings.
- Evaporates after drawing, leaving no residue.
Note: Solvents are flammable and volatile, close the lid tightly to avoid evaporation and keep away from flammable places
